The board of directors of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has expanded to 14 members and elected Richard F. Zannino as a director. Zannino is a managing director at the private equity firm CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC, and former chief executive officer and member of the board of directors of Dow Jones & Company.

Christopher Wood has been chosen to lead Estée Lauder’s Strategic Modernization Initiative (SMI) as it moves into the next phase. Wood will become senior vice president, global SMI, and a
member of the company’s executive leadership team, program management team and SMI steering team.
